The Michigan Amputee Golf Association cordially invites you to participate in the “CHALLENGE 100” CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC at Pine View Golf Club

Friday, September 12, 2008.

This day of golf and fellowship includes lunch (11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.), golf cart, a five-person scramble event (12:15 shotgun), prizes, and an attitude adjustment hour. An entry fee of $100 per person (minimum suggested donation) is 85% tax deductible.

Funds collected from this event will be used to meet the established goal of the M.A.G.A. to encourage others to focus on the challenge presented by the loss of an arm or leg rather than on the problem itself. Golf provides this challenge both through physical as well as psychological means. We should reach out to new amputees and assist each one of them to develop attitudes of self-sufficiency and faith in his or her abilities. The future growth and success of our association’s goals are the responsibility of each one of us. Because Pine View is donating their facility and carts, administrative costs are minimal.

We are offering a choice of our traditional Handicap Division or the Scratch Division. PLEASE SELECT YOUR CHOICE OF DIVISION AT TIME OF ENTRY.

We request your support by asking you to enter a full team of four from your club or group. However, partial teams and individual entries are most welcome and will be paired with others to make a complete team. The fifth player of each team will be an amputee either of your choosing (include name on entry) or someone assigned.

Please return the entry below by Friday, September 5, 2008. Make checks payable to: M.A.G.A.
